Marcin is the Managing Partner and Joint Founder of IMD Solicitors LLP, IMD Corporate and IMD Translation Ltd, where he spearheads the firms’ vision and strategic direction. A qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, Marcin has transitioned from direct legal practice to focusing on building and leading high-performing teams that deliver exceptional results for clients. Marcin is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, diversity, and inclusion within IMD. His leadership is defined by a strong focus on culture and values, ensuring that every team member embodies the firm’s commitment to integrity, innovation, and client care. Marcin’s trailblazing approach to leadership includes pioneering new standards in the legal industry, such as the introduction of a 4-day workweek at 100% salary (an initiative originally implemented by his wife and business partner Iwona in the family department), setting a precedent for work-life balance and employee well-being in the legal sector. In addition to his role at IMD, Marcin serves as a Council Member of the Manchester Law Society and is an active member of its Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee. His involvement in these roles underscores his commitment to promoting fairness and diversity within the legal profession. Under Marcin’s guidance, IMD has grown into a multiple award-winning firm, recognised for its exceptional client service and innovative legal solutions. His strategic leadership has not only driven the firm’s success but also established it as a leader in the industry. Marcin is frequently sought after by UK and international media for his expert insights and is an active participant in business events worldwide. Before founding IMD, he successfully led the international department of a major Manchester law firm, significantly contributing to its growth and success. Marcin holds Law Degrees from the University of Nicolaus Copernicus in Torun, Poland, and Manchester Metropolitan University. He is also a member of Mensa — The High IQ Society and a proud father of two daughters and a son.
