Non-labor clinical consultant for 4 years traveling throughout the Providence System (36 hospitals at the time) on the West Coast working with clinicians and medical staff on new products, improved processes, standardization and contract compliance. Worked closely with Value Analysis and vendors to enhance contracting opportunities, educate staff, and improve efficiencies/outcomes. Large project was to create and implement a custom procedure pack process which resulted in significant cost savings for a large IDN in annual expense. This multi-million dollar project was complex with over individual line items affected at 36 facilities.
