ABOUT MARCIA EMMONS
I have been a trusted legal advisor to the CEO and the Board of Directors at the highest level of RES for multiple business units in the US and Canada, working closely with our UK Group leadership for over 16 years. I direct all legal activities with the purpose of protecting the company and its leaders from risk while providing commercially viable solutions to mitigate risk. My role is a dual one, as a business leader and the chief legal officer. Under my leadership, attorneys approach the internal leaders and businesses as their clients, aligning their efforts with the commercial goals of the business to provide the highest level of legal support. Integrity, accountability, and personal development of the individuals in the Legal Department are priorities for me and have resulted in a collaborative team of legal professionals who seek optimal solutions to legal challenges. I serve as the Executive champion for our internal committees on Sustainability, Disability and Diversity and Inclusion, which I believe are essential for a strong business and are the right priorities.
