ABOUT MARCI PREBIANCA

I started Marci’s Bakery after 4 children. This wasn’t the original plan. I have always loved baking & had a particular draw to those with food allergies & sensitivities. I had already started a baking biz, years back, freshly married & motivated. I had a new hubbie, we were havin’ babies & \"livin\' the dream\" to serve delicious healthy baked goods everywhere!Sadly, an unexpected tragedy took place: our 3rd full term child died while being delivered. Our world & business came to a crashing halt.After some time of recovery, I began with my 1st of 3 big goals: We had a 4th child.The 2nd goal; I restarted the biz with a fresh vision to serve people decadent, tasty & completely allergen free baking. I believe none should be left out. I know I was born to create good-for-you food and to serve people. We have won many awards because people realize the significance of what we do, our baking tastes great, & because there\'s a higher power at hand! Goal #3: I didn’t only want to own a business but I wanted to make a difference in people’s lives. I couldn’t control the death of my own child, but I could serve the dying and their loved ones. So I set out to find meaningful employment in palliative care. In January 2024 I accepted P/T work at Kemp Care Hospice (formerly: The Bob Kemp Hospice). What a truly humbling and honourable experience to work in such a sacred place.I feel very blessed to have this 2nd chance at very worthy dreams.
