ABOUT MARCI ANDREWS
Sales, marketing and operations are in my blood! My parents always served customers, first as retail store owners and then as professional Sales agents. Many conversations revolved around what customers value and what it took to drive sales and earn a customer\'s loyalty. While at university, I caught a TV interview featuring the President of Procter & Gamble (P&G). I was mesmerized … so much so that I took notes on P&G\'s culture and values, along with how they positioned themselves as the world\'s primary sales and marketing organization. I was hooked! As soon as I finished university, P&G hired me. As I moved up the ranks, I learned the disciplines and focus that make P&G the Sales & Marketing giant they are. While there, I won a Canadian President\'s Club Award for attaining top 5% performance status. What may also set me apart is my \"Top 40 Under 40 Award Winner\" status. Venturing into the entrepreneurial space, I co-invented \"HealthPod Baby\"- an organizer designed by a team of doctors that helps parents track vital information regarding their children\'s health. I was also honoured to demonstrate this product on CBC-TV\'s \"Dragon\'s Den.\" Prior to appearing on \"Dragon\'s Dean\", I:* kick-started distribution channel activity from 0 to 90 retailers across Canada in just 6 months backed by a strong PR campaign,* slashed manufacturing costs as much as 65%- with no compromise to quality - by setting up manufacturing in China, and* garnered an iParenting Award from Disney recognizing \"HealthPod Baby\" as one of its most innovative new baby products.Although we left without a deal, I am immensely proud that we captured interest from Arlene Dickinson - a marketing master.\"No masterpiece was ever created by a lazy artist.\" This Anonymous quote perfectly sums up my work ethic where I understand changing market dynamics and translate them into actionable strategies to attain important company goals. I would like to do the same for you!
