ABOUT MARC HARRIS

I work at the intersection of research, behaviour change and health systems.My focus is on turning research and insight into practice, in ways that improve health and reduce inequalities.Across health and care settings, I lead research and implementation initiatives that bridge policy, delivery and community experience. I’m particularly interested in how behavioural science and systems thinking can be applied at scale, not just to understand problems, but to shift them.My work combines quantitative and qualitative research, large-scale evaluation, and participatory approaches. I translate complex theory into practical strategies that support real-world decision-making, strengthening the link between evidence, policy and implementation.I’ve worked to:• Apply behavioural science to system-wide change• Design and evaluate interventions that improve health outcomes• Embed community voice into programme and policy design• Build collaborative partnerships that enable sustainable systems changeI’m driven by a core question:How do we make meaningful change happen, sustainably, at scale, and where it matters most?
