As Acting Regional Director for CISA Region 10, I managed an approximately 75-person regional division across four states and coordinated directly with CISA national leadership, Congressional liaison staff, law enforcement, and interagency partners. Earlier assignments included 15 years of infrastructure protection leadership at FAA and eight years of diplomatic security operations across 93 countries with the State Department, providing close protection to three U.S. Secretaries of State.Across government, industry, and the classroom (16+ years of university teaching, published in SAGE, Springer, and the Journal of Emergency Management), my focus has been consistent: building security programs that operate at executive scale, grounded in risk reality, and capable of performing under uncertainty.I am open to full-time, fractional, or contract senior security leadership opportunities, including CSO, VP/Director of Security, and Chief Risk Officer, as well as advisory engagements.
