I advise issuers, financial institutions and investors on complex capital markets and financing transactions, in France and globally, with a particular focus on Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets and Derivatives.Partner and Global Co-Head Banking & Finance at CMS, I lead a team of more than 600 lawyers across 50 countries. I am qualified as an avocat in France and a solicitor in England and Wales, and I chair the ICMA France Committee.Since joining CMS in 2011, I have advised on €150bn+ of Debt Capital Markets transactions, including Eurobonds, EMTN programmes, covered bonds, hybrid securities, Euro PPs and liability management exercises. My work spans investment-grade and high-yield issuers, banks, investors, local authorities and sponsors, including on green, social and sustainability-linked bonds.I also advise on derivatives, repo and securities lending documentation (ISDA, FBF, GMRA, GMSLA) and related regulation (EMIR).Alongside transactional work, I am closely involved in market structuring and regulation. As a member of the Paris Europlace Bond Committee, I contributed to key reforms of French bond law and led the 2022 report on the attractiveness of French law for the issuance of debt securities.
