As a multicultural business modernization expert, I bring a unique perspective to leading firms, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations in industries such as finance, healthcare, education, and immigration. I have had the pleasure of working with notable companies such as Toyota, AMEX, Diageo, Abbott, and have also collaborated with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, NY State, and governments of Dominican Republic, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Honduras, and Ecuador. Furthermore, I have experience working with organizations such as Hispanic Federation, EmblemHealth, Aetna Foundation, the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation and the Hispanic Educational Technology Services Consortium. In 2018, I co-founded inQmatic, a company that serves as a trusted advisor for Spanish-speaking business owners, helping them navigate the U.S. economy through access to education, financing, and networking opportunities. My technical experience in financial technology dates back to 1998 where I developed the first web platform for Lloyds Bank in Ecuador and the Ecuadorian Ministry of Tourism payment system. I have also been part of the team that modernized the largest bank in Ecuador, Banco Pichincha. As an immigrant myself, I understand the challenges faced by those who are undocumented. I came to the United States in January 2002 and have had to work my way up. I am fully aware of the power of the ITIN number, as it was the key that helped me get my first job as a Technical Consultant at Wall Street Transcript and to launch my first business. I am actively involved in the Hispanic community and am a member of organizations such as The Dominican National Parade, The Hispanic Health Chamber of Commerce, the Association of Hispanic Health Executives (Chairman of the Technology Committee), Latinos in Information Sciences and Technology (LIST)(CTO), The Federation of Hispanic Chambers of Commerce of the State of New York, and Organizacion Ecuadorian Youth Organization (Co-Founder).
