Reporting to the Operations Director, managing the area\'s budget of between CAD 9-15 million/year. New structuring of the Purchasing department, team and processes in Canada, for the group\'s 3 companies, adapting the system to the new scenario, achieving agility and a 20% reduction in CAPEX processing time and management of purchased assets, simplifying processes and respecting compliance. Management of 800 to 1200 SKUs, with a portfolio of +60 suppliers and +200 manufacturers/brands. Leading the operations and accounting team in the transformation of purchasing processes during the unification of the holding company, improving the work flow of Procurement to Payment processing and minimizing rework. Development of new suppliers resulting in improvements in delivery times and new similar options with different prices and delivery times. Negotiating with suppliers, saving an average of 6-7% annually, with some suppliers achieving as much as 40%. Provided SAP MM training for employees in the operations department.

Hi, I\'m Marcelo Mendonça. I have over 12 years of professional experience in supply chain operations, purchasing, import, export and project management in Canadian companies and large multinationals in Brazil, such as Wipro, HSBC, Mondelez and Blount International. I am an expert in implementing and restructuring SAP and Ariba ERP systems. I have a degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship in Brazil, a degree in Supply Chain Management in Canada and part of an MBA in Project Management at FGV. I speak English daily, have intermediate Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese is my native language, and I have European citizenship.
