I am a forever curious global leader and builder: Sales, Product, Engineering for both HW and SW and how they come together to form complex platforms- Started and sold a consumer fintech company through a partnership with VISA- Tripled revenue while running GTM functions at DISCO allowing us to go public on the NYSE- Signed a multi year partnership with a major phone OEM while at Intel worth >$1B - While running the Smartphone business unit at Texas Instruments, ramped 50+ smartphones with all the major phone manufacturers around the world including: Samsung, LG, Motorola and many more- Managed hundreds of millions of dollars of annual R&D budget and over 1K people in the PnL covering Si, SW and HW roadmap investments to define the best features in smartphones 3-5 yrs out- Managed the Google and Microsoft relationships and helped co develop with Motorola and Google the first Android Motorola Droid.I believe in giving back, and as an entrepreneurship lecturer and start up mentor, I share my experiences and inspire the next generation of tech leaders. I often find myself learning just as much from the incredible UT Austin students as I teach them.I am energized by building meaningful relationships, fast-paced environments and by solving big problems through first principles to create growth and impact.
