Marcelo Richter, a Senior Associate in Mayer Brown’s London office, has experience in international commercial and investment treaty arbitration and public international law.Marcelo’s practice is focused on cross-border, high-stakes disputes involving parties and applicable laws from a wide-range of jurisdictions. In respect of investment treaty arbitration and public international law, Marcelo represents foreign investors and sovereign states in disputes before ICSID and under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. A substantial part of Marcelo\'s work also includes representing parties in commercial and engineering & construction arbitrations before major arbitral institutions, such as ICC, LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC and ADCCAC. He has acted in large-scale disputes involving airports, maritime projects, hydroelectric facilities, solar power plants and other infrastructure and superstructure projects.Marcelo regularly publishes on international arbitration and has attended and presented at conferences and universities.
