As a seasoned Semiconductor/LED Professional, I bring 31 years of experience in the high-tech industry, having served three major IC companies, one LED manufacturer, and one OEM. Currently, I am part of the CSBG business unit at Lam Research Corporation, where my responsibilities span across- Productivity Product Support, which includes advanced services, with machine learning/AI capabilities - Leading a team for the ideation and development of productivity software application, transforming data into insight- Leading the CSBG Corporate AI program for field engineers- Leading the Design for service and installation (DFSI) team- Corporate Installed Base Support and ServicePreviously, I spent seven years in the Customer Support Business Group of Lam Research, overseeing EMEA Installed Base Operations and spearheading the regional Big Data projects (Equipment Intelligence: Machine Learning).As a hands-on Sr. Director, I have honed my expertise in Fab start-ups, process control system setups, technology transfers, productivity solutions, and management reporting. My experience extends to all facets of Fab management, including new product introduction, contract negotiation, equipment budget forecasting, wafer cost estimation, and equipment selection. I have also led multicultural teams, comprising Chinese, American, Korean, and Italian members, in Fab operation activities.I was privileged to be among the pioneers in the establishment of the first cutting-edge IC Foundry in China (SMIC), where I actively contributed to the construction of the semiconductor industry in the Mainland.Additionally, I was a member of the Management team of the first High Brightness LED company in China (China SemiLEDs).
