According to the 2021 PwC annual CEO Survey, cyber threats are now one of the Top 3 Boardroom issues. As a result, cyber security budgets are growing faster than ANY OTHER IT-related budgets. But no matter how much time and money an organization dedicates to cyber security, Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) will STILL need to make tradeoffs. Many of the tradeoffs are being made using feature/function assessments that feed into the risk models companies are using, but the mathematical and statistical mapping to the cost of risk is often incomplete. The mission of Proofpoint\'s new Value Management Office is to help (prospective) customers determine which People-centric Security investments give them the best protection \"bang for the buck,\" now and in the oh-so-unpredictable future.
