About Marcela Chavan
Communication shapes how people understand one another, build trust, and lead in a complex world. My work explores how communication influences leadership, culture, and collaboration across organizations, communities, and institutions in an increasingly interconnected global environment.I hold a Ph.D. in Communication and have worked across media, higher education leadership, curriculum design, and intercultural engagement. My early experience in media production, scientific journalism, and editorial work continues to influence the way I teach, design programs, and approach communication challenges, connecting communication theory with real-world practice.Much of my work focuses on creating programs, conversations, and learning environments that help people communicate with clarity, cultural awareness, and purpose. I am particularly interested in how intercultural dialogue, leadership formation, and communication education contribute to stronger organizations, communities, and institutions.Throughout my career, I have created spaces where ideas can be explored with curiosity, respect, and intellectual honesty, and where communication becomes a tool for understanding, collaboration, and meaningful leadership.
