ABOUT MARCELA BRAGAGNOLO
The energy of movement is my passion—capturing its beauty, rhythm, and emotion through animation. I am a hybrid creative: animator, motion capture supervisor, Unreal Engine Animation Fellow and Authorized Trainer, and VFX artist. My background as a professional dancer deeply informs how I approach performance-based animation—whether I’m directing mocap, keyframing subtle expressions, or animating particles in space. Since the age of 15, my dance training has fueled my animation journey—and vice versa. Movement has always been my language, expressed through pixels, rigs, simulations, and human bodies. I specialize in expressive, physically grounded animation for film, games, virtual production, and stage. From nuanced character performance to dynamic particle simulation, I work at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and embodiment. As an educator and coach, I’m passionate about helping animation artists and performers master digital tools, refine their movement, and bring characters to life with emotional depth and technical precision.
