ABOUT MARCEL LUI
As a final year Mechanical Engineering student at UWaterloo, my journey has been marked by a commitment to precision and innovation. Through my experiences as an estimator, I have harnessed proficiency in understanding architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings. Furthermore, my experience in project planning has given me the skills to ensure accurate project forecasts that are vital for successful construction management. Moreover, I have a solid foundation in mechanical design principles. From my experiences, I have worked in roles where I have had to develop many complicated 3D CAD models based on dynamics and statics calculations. I am competent in creating more complex models such as surfaces and sheet metal. I have also had exposure to FEA and CFD simulation in both SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS, making me a good fit for any mechanical design role. Last, I believe my skillset in being a communicative leader and my technical background in mechanical fundamentals makes me a great fit for any technical or Project Management role.
