About Marcel Khouw

Since relocating to Houston in 2007, Marcel\'s career has focused on the planning, construction, and maintenance of public works utilities in the Houston region. He has worked on utility projects for municipal utility districts in Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, and Brazoria counties as well as the cities of Houston, Sugar Land, Pearland, and Pasadena. Additionally, he has experience with both mature and newly developing districts in Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, and Brazoria counties. Marcel enjoys working with clients including resident directors who seek new methods to improve the management of their district’s assets and provide services to their communities. Marcel’s project experience includes water transmission and distribution lines, sanitary sewer and force mains, lift stations, storm drainage systems, and roadway reconstruction. At IDS Engineering Group, Marcel serves as a project manager in the Public Works department and focuses on providing excellent engineering services to his clients. He is a geological engineering graduate of Washington State University and a licensed professional civil engineer in the State of Texas and the State of Hawaii.
