    Vice President and leader of small molecule Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) department at Genentech. Member of the small molecule leadership team chartered with management of the whole small molecule portfolio and strategic planning. Member of the Research Review Committee and Development Review Committee managing the discovery and development portfolio – small and large molecules. Management of a team of about 85 scientists involved in generation and interpretation of ADME data in support of drug discovery and development projects ranging from early stage research to post marketing commitments. Accountable for ADME portion of internal decision-making documents and regulatory documents. Responsible for strategic direction of DMPK department with emphasis on improving efficiency and reducing ADME-related attrition as well as internal and external staffing, budget management and performance evaluation. Strategic planning for near-term and long-term opportunities for computational sciences to impact drug discovery.
