ABOUT MARCEL DESMOND
I am currently pursuing a master’s degree in Political Management at Carleton University. I completed my BA Honours in Public Policy & Governance at the Brian Mulroney Institute of Government, StFX University. Throughout my studies, I’ve worked as a public servant, board director, and program assistant; at organizations such as the Government of Nova Scotia and the Maritime Provinces Higher Education Commission. These experiences have allowed me to study and practice public affairs through a public, non-profit, and academic lens. My interests include: political behaviour, strategic communications and writing, Canadian race politics, education policy & governance, administrative law, and HR management in public service.
