ABOUT MARC ZENNER
Marc is a seasoned financial executive who currently serves on the board of OneSpan, consults on corporate finance, teaches at the University of Miami, is a senior advisor to Radar and Persefoni, and serves as an expert witness.Marc retired from investment banking in 2017 after 10 years at J.P. Morgan and 6 years at Citi. As global head of corporate advisory (@JPM) and financial strategy (@Citi) he provided senior level corporate finance and strategic advice to major corporations. Marc spent time with firms across all industries and geographies, with an emphasis on energy, technology, industrial, retail & consumer companies. Marc advised boards and senior decision makers on spinoffs, dividends and buybacks, hedge fund activism, capital allocation, valuation, strategic decisions, capital structure, investor communications, risk management, and liquidity. Marc authored widely distributed reports which have been downloaded over times. He was often quoted in the press.Prior to his career in banking, Marc was an award winning tenured professor of finance and the chairman of the finance and economics area at the Kenan Flagler Business School at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Marc was a widely acclaimed educator winning MBA, PhD and university wide teaching awards. He published extensively in the main academic finance journals. He was named one of the best business school professors by Business Week and received the Financial Management Outstanding Executive award in 2016.
