ABOUT MARC WOLINSKY
After a successful, 40+ year careers as lawyers, Marc Wolinsky and his husband and Barry Skovgaard decided to step away from the practice of law and found Casa Doce Music as their second act. Their business plan is simple: find great artists who have the talent to be pop stars and who can benefit from the capital that emerging artists typically lack and management guidance and help them achieve their full potential. Before co-founding Casa Doce Music, Marc was fully engaged as a partner in the Litigation Department of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. Marc tried cases in federal and state courts throughout the United States, and argued appeals in the D.C. Circuit, the New York Court of Appeals and the Appellate Divisions of the New York State Supreme Court. Marc also led the Firm\'s pro bono practice for decades, and was instrumental in freeing innocent three men from life sentences and one innocent man from death row. Marc was the recipient of the 2017 Servant of Justice Award from the Legal Aid Society of New York and the 2023 Whitney North Seymour Award for outstanding public service by a private practitioner from the Federal Bar Council
