About Marc Valley
Born in a small community outside of Sacramento California, I received my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of California in 1980. In 1984, I received my medical degree from Loma Linda University Medical School in California. After completing my surgical internship in Los Angeles, California, I joined the Air Force to complete my residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. In addition to my medical credentials, I received a Master’s Degree in Systems Management from the University of Southern California and a Master’s in Public Health from East Tennessee State University. Since leaving the Air Force in 1996, I have been in private practice in Arkansas and most recently in Eastern Tennessee. I served in various administrative positions while in the United States Air Force, culminating as the Chief Medical Officer at Whiteman AFB in Missouri. I am a member of the Spinal Injection Society, and the International Neuromodulation Society. My clinical interests include medical pain management and addictionology, cancer pain, and neuropathic pain. My wife Patricia and I have five children.
