ABOUT MARC THERRIEN
Marc Therrien est directeur général de l’IRIC et chercheur principal à l’Unité de recherche en signalisation intracellulaire de l’Institut; ainsi que professeur titulaire au département de pathologie et biologie cellulaire de la Faculté de médecine de l’Université de Montréal. Il a cofondé l\'IRIC en 2003 et a contribué activement à sa croissance. Nommé directeur scientifique de l\'IRIC de 2013 à 2023, il a géré le recrutement et les promotions des chercheurs principaux ainsi que les programmes académiques et scientifiques de l\'IRIC, et son infrastructure scientifique. Depuis juin 2024, il assure le poste de directeur général par intérim de Therrien is IRIC\'s Chief Executive Director and Principal Investigator in the Institute’s Intracellular Signalling Research Unit as well as Full Professor in the Department of Pathology and Cell Biology in the Faculty of Medicine at the Université de Montréal.He co-founded IRIC in 2003 and has actively contributed to its growth. Appointed Scientific Director of IRIC from 2013 to 2023, he managed the recruitment and promotion of Principal Investigators, as well as IRIC\'s academic and scientific programs, and its scientific infrastructure. Since June 2024, he has been serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer of IRIC.
