Arriving as the Orchestra began in person concerts after 18-months of COVID shutdowns, Marc has driven the creation, communication, and implementation of a strategic plan with a vision: The Calgary Phil Belongs to Everyone.This work with brilliant team members and passionate stakeholders led to the Calgary Phil\'s most successful season so far in 2024-25, with 41 sold-out concerts (surpassing the previous record of 28 sold-out concerts in 2012-13), with audiences from across the city and beyond, welcoming people of all ages and all backgrounds.Sales and fundraising revenue are being driven steadily higher year over year, and attracting additional government investment while demonstrating with data that the Calgary Phil receives less in public subsidy than it returns through payroll and sales taxes, and facility rent.
