40+years working in the metal removal manufacturing sector including experience servicing companies in the aerospace, power generation, orthopedic/medical, large parts sub-contracting, bearing, automotive, mining, and lift truck market sectors.Vision to create a start-up company in 1996 (Tru-Edge Grinding, Inc.) to fulfill a niche in aftermarket needs of cutting tools; including tool regrinding, new tool manufacturing, cutting tool design services, OEM orthopedic & medical instrument precision grinding services, and more recently expanding into PVD hard surface coating services for cutting tools and tooling components such as fine blanking dies, punches, form tools and general metal bending operations. ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications. Acquired Metalcut Tool Services in August 2015 to complement aftermarket cutting tool service to provide indexable cutting tool repair, tool holder modifications, and special indexable tool manufacturing. In 2019 rebranded the complete Tru-Edge service offering to lean forward with digital marketing campaigns.
