Based at the Spadeadam R&D test site in Cumbria, which specialises in explosion, blast & fire testing on large scale projects.Responsible for the FEED of all test rigs that are assigned to me. This includes the concept & engineering calculations for a wide variety of test scenarios. Responsible for the development of P & ID and GA drawings.Responsible for the issuance of PTW processes for all of the disciplines required on various projects.Involved in large scale engineering projects that are pivotal to the energy transition, predominately in the Hydrogen space.Lead person for multi-disciplinary project teams across a range of industry sectors such as renewables & oil & gas.Responsible for the creation of test specific “Risk Assessments” & the development of “Test Procedures” that govern the safe operation of the test solutions we construct.Integral input to the tendering process for new work, in the form of a detailed BOM to ascertain cost & subsequent profit from.Arrange contractors & suppliers to provide parts & services for any specialist or niche service that the projects require. A good example of this is the coordination of NDT scopes for large diameter pipeline construction (RT, PAUT & MPI) as well as the welding & welding qualification process.Involved in HAZID & HAZOP activities should the projects requireGood knowledge of IGEM/TD/1, IGEM/TD/13, ASME B16.5, B16.9, B31.3, B31.12, BPVC, B31.8
