Le Mans 24 Hours, European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Series (championship winners).Working as the Chief Mechanic for the Nielsen Racing LMP2 team, I am in charge of the overall running of the car, while also working closely with Team Management on the running of the LMP2 team as a whole. Key responsibilities include; preparation of the race car at the workshop and race track, pit stop strategy planning, creating jobs lists and making sure they are completed.I am also responsible for all parts ordering/rotation, lifing, budget planning and regularly liaise with the manufacturer (Oreca) and key suppliers, such as Xtrac and Gibson on mileage to be able to arrange gearbox and engine rebuilds.
