Develop and execute an insight led long-term plan for retaining existing officials and grow the number of new officials in the sport•Build capacity of the volunteer led official’s system in England. Working closely with staff, competition providers, other home country athletic federations (HCAFs), UKA, regional councils and member clubs• Represent EA on UK wide Officials Working Groups including the Officials Education Management Group Advisory Group (TAG)• Leading role within the OEMG, in creating, updating, reviewing and promoting of all training and educational resources for the tutor workforce across England and UK• Coordinate within the OEMG the creating, updating and review of all educational and training resources relating to the track/field and endurance officials’ pathways• Review, implement and maximise conversion of officials for levels 1 to 3 across the UK, through the OEMG• Lead on the formation and management of partnerships with third-party organisations to enhance growth in the number of officials• Work closely with colleagues at EA, other home countries and OEMG to ensure information, communication and marketing activity targeting official’s recruitment and retention• Liaise with and maintain regular contact with the regional/national councils, County Official’s Secretaries, Officials Groups, to ensure local knowledge is captured in delivery and national priorities for official’s development, retention and recruitment• Collaborate and work alongside key stakeholders in EA and UKA to understand and influence ongoing policy review for official’s development and education• Support colleagues in the development of a co-ordinated plan for official’s education courses• Offer advice and guidance through competition and club structures to support official’s development and build this into delivery plans at all governance levels• Engage, monitor and support Officials Association’s on officials’ recruitment, retention and development
