ABOUT MARC REARDON

I am an experienced Portfolio, Programme and Change Manager who possesses a wealth of knowledge in driving entire programme lifecycles underpinning business transformation and change, leading the delivery of multiple nationwide initiatives that span people, process and technology. I consider myself commercially astute, able to direct multi-disciplinary teams and build relationships with stakeholders & external suppliers, to safeguard the introduction of new services, and the seamless outsourcing of resources to managed service providers. As a consummate professional, I act as a catalyst to change and have championed the introduction of best practices such as Agile into key organisations such as the Post Office, I have also led the implementation of new biometric terminals into the DVLA and UK Borders Agency, as part of a £21m Application, Enrolment and Identity programme. My accomplishments to date have included: Major part in a £70m large-scale network development transformation programme at Post Office, handled £15m budget and directed a number of strategic hardware/software projects, in addition off-loading of incumbent vendor and the seamless on-boarding of a new supplier IBM. Took ownership for a programme portfolio of cross functional projects covering commercial, HR and corporate services, directed project managers and PMO through the entire lifecycle delivery of new products including £1.5m web refresh and a £10m Drop and Go Self Service Kiosks programme. Appointed as Change Delivery Lead on a HR Transformation programme and led the Service Integration & Management (SIAM) including the outsourcing of 35% of the overall project workforce to ATOS, which involved TUPE agreements, redundancies and the reduction of fixed costs by £5m. By nature I am adaptable and motivated, able to assimilate quickly into new working environments and drive the delivery of business transformation and change, which delivers savings in excess of £35m.
