ABOUT MARC MARTORANA
I love to foster meaningful learning experiences for my students at Pathways to Graduation, Fairleigh Dickinson University, and Walk and Talk Learning. After graduating from Teacher\'s College at Columbia University, I served as a counselor for the Door\'s High School Equivalency Program. After two years, I transitioned to teach for Pathways to Graduation, an alternative education program for students who have left the traditional school system. Most recently, I have launched a new project - Walk and Talk Learning - an education initiative focused on fostering social emotional learning experiences focused on dialogue in outdoor settings. My broad range of interests include education, philosophy, history, hiking, mindfulness, literature, and grappling sports. I am interested in connecting with open-minded people with similar interests or professional goals.
