My role as Clinical Director includes the delivery of robust clinical governance, continuous improvement and operational delivery of effective clinical services across three sites within the Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.(Aintree University Hospital, Royal Liverpool University Hospital and Broadgreen Hospital).Incorporating my experience in leadership, knowledge of care standards and clinical strategies, performance at both individual and corporate level and understanding of patient safety, team development and service provision, I work with all levels of staff to provide an opportunity for all members to develop themselves under the collective leadership model of shared responsibility.Key to the success of the position is driving a culture of communication through staff engagement and empowerment to develop a strong footprint for service improvement across all sectors.
