Over 28 years experience in VLSI Design and Verification (mostly FPGA based) in Telecoms and High-speed wireline networking. I have most recently been leading a very talented team developing video transport solutions over high speed IP networks for the Broadcast industry - and developing industry relationships in this fast evolving market space.Over 18 years of engineering management experience, including managing an engineering team through the acquisition of our small company by a large Japanese corporation. Our San Diego and Yokohama based engineering teams work collaborate to develop and market products and solutions globally.Worked with a senior level local manager to build a software development team in Russia focused on embedded and application level software for broadcast video.Develop customer and partner relationships in the industry, and participate in industry organizations to drive new standards forward, participate in interoperability studies between vendors, and technology showcases.
