ABOUT MARC GENDREAU

Following a growing interest in the practical tactics and strategies to optimize personal and organisational productivity, Marc Gendreau launched Optimatron in 2019. Marc currently delivers all of the services offered by Optimatron, occasionally working alongside sub-contractors and workshop facilitators when required. Prior to launching Optimatron, Marc worked for over 12 years in the Canadian justice sector, in both front-line and teaching/research positions. His civic engagement has included volunteering as a Big Brother, driving for Red Nose, and creating and delivering a variety of community programs for at-risk youth in Ottawa.He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Criminology from the University of Ottawa, as well as certificates in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Wilfrid Laurier University), Fundraising Management (Algonquin College) and Non-Profit Management (Simon Fraser University). Marc has extensive knowledge, training, and experience in various practices and techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Collaborative Problem Solving, Psychological First-Aid, and Motivational Interviewing-(Français)Suite à un intérêt croissant pour les tactiques et stratégies concrètes pour optimiser la productivité personnelle et organisationnelle, Marc Gendreau a lancé Optimatron en 2019. Marc fournit présentement l’ensemble des services offerts par Optimatron, travaillant occasionnellement aux côtés de sous-traitants et d\'animateurs d\'ateliers lorsque nécessaire.Avant de lancer Optimatron, Marc a oeuvré pendant plus de 12 ans dans le secteur canadien de la justice, tant dans des postes de première ligne qu\'en enseignement / recherche. Son engagement civique inclut du bénévolat en tant que grand frère, bénévole-conducteur pour Nez rouge, et la création et la prestation d\'une variété de programmes communautaires pour les jeunes à risque dans la ville d’Ottawa. Il détient un baccalauréat et une maîtrise en criminologie de l\'Université d\'Ottawa, ainsi que des certificats en thérapie cognitivo-comportementale (Université Wilfrid Laurier), gestion de collecte de fonds (Collège Algonquin) et en gestion philantropique (Université Simon Fraser).Marc possède des expériences, formations et connaissances approfondies dans diverses approches et techniques, telles que la thérapie cognitivo-comportementale, la résolution collaborative de problèmes, les premiers soins psychologiques et l\'entrevue motivationnelle.
