Prepare and deliver briefings, inquiries and reports to NOAA senior leadership, Political appointees, Interagency/International partners and Congress. Manage tasks for 5-person contract-support team- Led $3.5M Space Weather Data Project; synergized novel R&D from 10 institutions to advance space weather observing abilities and prediction- Led $8M Microwave Weather Data project; realized innovate commercial technologies to improve weather prediction- Implemented transition of technology-proven capabilities into National Weather Service operations; orchestrated interagency plan to integrate commercial satellite data into end-user applications; improved weather forecast accuracy 10%- Execute and advise on $54M annual operations and procurement budget for the Program- Plan, coordinate and manage execution on dozens of interagency agreements, task orders and vendor contracts- Establish technical vision and direction; provide advice and support to senior leaders, program managers and project leads.
