About Marc Ganz
Marc D. Ganz, J.D, LL.M. is Global Tax Account Leader serving a number of large global consumer companies. He is also the Americas Consumer Products Tax Sector Leader. He was formerly the East Regional Tax Consumer Products Sector Leader, Americas Inbound Tax Leader, the Global Telecoms Tax Sector leader and the International Tax Market Leader for EY in New Jersey. He joined the firm in October He formally served as a Senior Manager with EY\'s U.S. Tax Desk in London from October through February 2003. Marc specializes in advising clients in international taxation where he services a wide range of multi-national companies. For these clients Marc assists with international tax planning and international tax compliance issues on matters related but not limited to issues in the US Foreign Tax Credit, repatriation, withholding taxes, tax controversy issues, anti-deferral rules, restructuring, IP Planning, inbound tax matters such as earnings stripping, cross border payments, and other international tax issues. Marc has authored a number of articles for tax and business publications including a Bloomberg Tax Management Portfolio titled 6760 T.M, U.S. International Taxation of Telecoms. He is also a regular speaker on various international tax topics. He obtained his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University and his Juris Doctorate and Advanced Certificate in International Affairs from Washington University. He earned a BA with Honors from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Prior to joining EY, Marc worked as an associate in a New York law firm and served as a law clerk to the Honorable William M. Fay, a Senior Judge on the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. Marc was also a tax associate with Kelley Drye & Warren as well as with Coopers & Lybrand.
