In this role, I help chemical firms leverage AI on their missions to build better futures. This work has led me from large, international enterprises to German middle market and niche players, including additive, silicone, agrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, coatings, membranes, adhesives, and instruments specialists.This means I partner with chemical and pharma leaders to originate data and AI programs, and build and lead teams of data strategists, data scientists, AI/ML engineers, and data engineers that deliver these programs. Our work transforms the entire chemical value chain, including R&D, procurement, inventory management, production, sales & customer support, and enbabling functions. As a senior leader in Alexander Thamm\'s Data & AI advisory practice, I\'m trusted with growth accountability for the chemicals and pharma portfolio, where I drive business development from new offering design and go-to-market to deal origination, negotiation, and closing.

I help chemical firms leverage data and AI on their missions to build better futures, from large enterprises to German middle market and niche specialty players. I\'ve had the chance to talk about my work on industry platforms and media such as the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI), CHEManager, Chemical Industry Journal, and C & EN.In 2012, I started my career building freight cost simulations for a chemical distributor on the outskirts of Germany\'s Ruhr area. Consumer preference theory made me hack together my first \"AI\" systems, simple product recommenders.
