ABOUT MARC DOHM
After having studied industrial computer science in a sandwich course system with ZF, I first worked as webmaster (design, implementation and administration of intranet, internet, proxy, DNS servers and firewalls). Afterwards I was asked to work in a BoM’s staff unit for interdivisional and intercompany process standardization (‘Global eBusiness Team’) as IT expert, before I took over the team lead for desktop services in the headquarter location in FRD incl. global desktop service procurement when I was 26. Five years later I decided to switch from IT operations to IT innovation where I have led various projects, e.g. evaluation of future corporate unified communication platform, global rollout of MS Skype for Business, introduction of WAN Optimization test lab, concept for semi-process automation of VBA macro migrations, etc.) and have evaluated multiple technology trends and created internal management expertise (e.g. client virtualization, SBC, OCS, MSEA).
