ABOUT MARC DEORA

Dr. Marc Deora, DO,PhD. Advancing Paediatric Etiopathy Through Care, Education, and LegacyIt is my privilege to share my journey as I have just retired from The GOsC. As the founder of the Osteopathic Centre for Family and Children in Cambridge, UK, established in 1993, my mission has been to provide exceptional care to infants and children while fostering the growth and education of future paediatric osteopaths.A Legacy of ExcellenceMy journey in osteopathy began 36 years ago when I graduated from the renowned European School of Osteopathy (ESO) in Maidstone. This institution\'s commitment to excellence provided me with a strong foundation, shaping my approach to patient care and education.Early in my career, I had the immense honour of being the interpreter and assistant to the legendary Dr. Viola Frymann, DO, for 17 years. Twice a year, I was her \"French Voice\" and assisted her as she taught week-long paediatric osteopathy courses in Paris, as well as in Dublin, London, and Berlin. Through this unparalleled experience, I gained profound insights into Dr. Frymann\'s gentle and holistic techniques, which emphasized the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of children. Her mentorship deeply influenced my practice, and I consider it both a privilege and a responsibility to continue sharing her wisdom.Pioneering Paediatric Osteopathy in CambridgeAt the Osteopathic Centre for Family and Children, our focus is on delivering holistic, patient-centered care. We specialize in addressing cranial deformities, developmental challenges, and other conditions affecting children’s well-being. By integrating osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, nutrition, and complementary therapies, our approach ensures that each child receives tailored and comprehensive care.Over the years, I have treated countless children, helping them achieve better health and developmental outcomes. The joy of witnessing children thrive under our care is a constant source of motivation and fulfilment.Sharing Knowledge across BordersInspired by the legacy of Dr. Viola Frymann, I have dedicated myself to teaching and spreading the principles of paediatric osteopathy globally. My work has taken me to various parts of Europe and beyond, sharing this knowledge with practitioners and students in France, Scandinavia, Russia, Estonia, Poland, and Japan. Teaching Dr. Frymann\'s legacy has been a profound experience, connecting me with practitioners who share a commitment to advancing paediatric osteopathy for the benefit of children everywhere.
