Attained the role of Chairman of the Government Division in 2019 through which I am leading efforts focused on finding ways for Federal, State, Local and International governments to improve quality and performance. Have built a volunteer leadership team of over 20 members who are passionately tackling over a dozen initiatives and special projects. Also served as Newsletter Editor, Chair-Elect and other roles for the same Division for several years. Recently presented a topic entitled, “Sustaining Performance Improvement in the Government” to over 150 people at the ASQ World Conference. Authored an article entitled, “Can Transparency Help Government Continuously Improve Performance?”, in which suggestions were offered on how to sustain a culture of quality and performance improvement in Government.
