As the Head of Information Technology, I am passionate about leveraging technology to empower organizations and drive innovation. With a career spanning over 24 years in the IT industry, I have had the privilege of leading transformative IT initiatives that have streamlined operations and positioned businesses for future growth.During my time as an Infrastructure Manager and the Head of Information Technology at Yopa and Scout, I managed the IT on-premises team which consisted of a Senior Systems Administrator and multiple Technical Support Analysts. The team was responsible for end-user support, maintaining the office network and servers, user endpoints, the entire Microsoft 365 suite, Intune, and associated IT security, Extended detection and response (XDR), Vulnerability Management (VM), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Anti-Virus, etc.Starting my Infrastructure Manager role, I managed the IT budget and reduced the overall IT budget by 35%. While improving the technology stack, extending features, and increasing IT security by introducing XDR, SIEM, and VM simplifying management by reducing the number of 3rd party applications and better integrating with Microsoft Identity.The biggest success during my time at Yopa and ScoutFS was migrating from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. This multi-year project included conversations with stakeholders from all levels within the business, managing the entire project, creating training documents for L&D, and financial conversations with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the board. The best part of the entire project was that there were no major technical issues before, during, and after the migration.After the Google to Microsoft migration, I started projects for moving other 3rd party services, like Slack, and Lucid Charts to Microsoft which reduced the overall IT budget significantly even more.
