   Orange County Utilities (OCU) provides water, wastewater, reclaimed water, and solid waste recovery services to protect and enrich the lives of the citizens and guests of Orange County, Florida. There are four operating divisions: Solid Waste, Water, Water Reclamation, and Field Services, as well as three support divisions: Engineering, Customer Service, and Fiscal & Operational Support. OCU’s vision of One Utility United Through Excellence is accomplished by a staff of over 900 employees.Responsible for assisting the Director in all areas related to the coordinated management of the County\'s water, wastewater, solid waste and general operations of the Utilities Department with primary responsibility for the Water and Water Reclamation Divisions as follows: • Water service for 145,648 premises over 451 square miles of water service area • 11 water supply facilities producing ~60 MGD (current capacity ~ 150 MGD) of drinking water, 8 repump facilities and 2 elevated storage tanks • Wastewater service for 154,916 premises over 636 square miles of wastewater service area • 3 regional water reclamation facilities treating 60 MGD of wastewater (current treatment capacity is 78 MGD with expansions underway to over 90 MGD)
