ABOUT MARC BREDENKAMP
A Strength and Conditioning Professional with extensive experience coaching across 15 different sports and at every level of participation — from school-aged youth to elite international athletes. I specialise in female athlete development, return-to-play rehabilitation, and youth athletic pathways, with a strong foundation in both academic teaching and applied sport science.Currently, I lead S&C delivery for England Rugby\'s Womens U18s Player Development Groups, England Touch Rugby’s junior squads, and the University of Gloucestershire’s BUCS and GB TASS athletes. I am passionate about creating athlete-centred environments that promote autonomy, confidence, and long-term development. My work has contributed to success stories, including:🥇 An undefeated 2024/25 season with the university’s BUCS Women’s Football Team🥇🥈Supporting a GB female archer to gold at the 2025 UK Master’s Women’s Championship, and silver at the 2024 European Youth Championships Coaching U18s England squads to multiple gold and silver medals at the Junior European Touch ChampionshipsAlongside coaching, I lecture in strength and conditioning, biomechanics, and programme design at the university level.
