ABOUT MARC BERRYMAN

Marc is Chief Operating Officer of GIB Asset Management. He served previously as Investment Operations Director at St James’s Place, Chief Executive Officer/Chief Operating Officer of Credit Suisse Asset Management Limited, and Head of UK Business Management and UK Integration Lead at UBS Asset Management.Marc has chaired audit and risk committees for Self Management UK and ODI Global. In 2025, he was appointed the Independent Director of Thera Trust and member of its Finance, Audit & Risk Committee and Chair of the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee of CDP Worldwide, and Director of CDP Worldwide – Japan.Between 2022 and 2024, Marc was a member of the Investment Association’s Strategic Business & Risk Committee, and he served on the Investment Funds Committee until January 2026. He has also sat on Luxembourg‑domiciled alternative investment fund boards, including funds with sustainability objectives. In 2021, he contributed to AIMA’s guide on UK hybrid working policy and practices.Passionate about inclusivity, Marc has twice been a selection expert for the Fair Education Alliance’s Scale Award and was nominated for Credit Suisse’s Steve Cliff Award for Outstanding Contribution to Philanthropy. He represented the asset management division in the UK Black Talent Action Plan at UBS and was a senior sponsor of an employee resource group at St James’s Place, which supports disability, neurodiversity, and working carers.Marc qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cardiff University. In 2024, he completed a higher apprenticeship in Transformational Leadership and earned the ICAEW Sustainability Certificate.
