As a Software Engineer at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL), I work on developing and testing firmware for power system protection and automation devices. I use my skills in C++, Python, C#, and software development security to create high-quality and reliable solutions for the energy industry.I graduated with a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science from Lewis-Clark State College in 2020, where I also worked as a Research Assistant in the bioinformatics field. I applied my knowledge of bash scripts, Python, and DNA analysis to detect and annotate natural variations of Sorghum, a crop with potential for biofuel production. I have also taught coding to young learners as an Online Instructor at iD Tech Camps and as Coding Specialist at NJY Camps, where I enjoyed sharing my passion for technology and learning with others.I am a curious and creative Software Engineer with an insatiable hunger for learning and using new technologies. I love learning new skills and making them my specialty, which is how I learned five different languages.
