ABOUT MARC LEWIS

I am a 4th Year Mechanical Engineering major at the University of Georgia, on track to graduate in December of 2025 with a GPA of 3.03. My academic accomplishments include being the 2021 Valedictorian at Stephenson High School and earning certifications such as the Google Project Management Certificate and a Workforce Diversity Certificate from UGA\'s Terry College of Business. These accolades underline my foundational skills in project management, engineering design, and diversity initiatives.My technical expertise is supported by hands-on experience with a variety of software tools including AutoCAD, Matlab, Fusion 360, Procore, and Primavera Cloud, which I have applied in academic and personal projects to enhance my proficiency in engineering and project planning. Professionally, I have interned at firms such as Winter Construction and Lando’s Heating and Air, Inc, where I developed my capabilities in HVAC systems, project coordination, and budget management. These roles have reinforced my ability to ensure efficient operational frameworks and project success.I also hold leadership roles, such as Fundraising Chair for the UGA NAACP and Financial Officer for the Black Male Leadership Society, through which I spearhead initiatives that foster community involvement and financial stewardship. My involvement in these roles highlights my dedication to supporting and leading community-oriented projects.I am eager to connect with professionals within the engineering community to explore collaborative opportunities and further my career in the field.
