Mara LeGrand is a Director, Producer, Writer of multi-award winning films. She has two Nationally broadcast and distributed Documentaries; Heart & Soil, a beguiling film that highlights the importance for local and regional farming, and Wild Horses In Winds of Change, shot through the lens of the wild horses, whose ultimate sustainability on the range is perilous as forces from all directions, threaten their existence. Both films, following their award winning filmfestival circuit then National PBS debuts, are available to be streamed through Amazon. Mara was also the Coproducer with Larry Sarezky of \"Ed Meets His Maker\", a beautiful narrative about a boy in the 50\'s who gets closure with his Dad\'s death, when his pet turtle, Ed dies. Mara has worn many hats in filmmaking but has also worked with a league of professional, cinematographers, audio technicians, sound / score and musicians. To pass her expertise forward, she teaches Filmmaking, Screen Writing and Digital Story-Telling in the Portland area. She has an Italy travel piece in the works, slated for release the summer of 2018. In addition to being a Media Production and Communication Professional, Mara has several books in pre-production. Meanwhile she is an author\'s rep, currently representing \"Divorce Simply Stated\"by 21st Century Divorce books. She continues to look for the next best fit for her uniquely gifted skills and creative savvy.
