Support and contribute to the overall leadership and direction of the National Breast Cancer Coalition (NBCC) which works to elevate breast cancer to an issue of national significance, leverage billions of federal dollars for research and care, and empower tens of thousands of breast cancer survivors to become effective advocates for themselves, and for all those at risk of breast cancer. NBCC\'s primary mission is to end breast cancer. Reporting directly to the President, the Chief Operating Officer/Chief of Staff partners closely with all staff to chart NBCC’s future growth and strategic direction to achieve its mission. The COO/COS manages the day-to-day activities of NBCC and engages in organizational review and direction setting including program oversight and leadership on various mission-critical issues. The COO/COS plays a key role in ongoing staff leadership, identifies opportunities and challenges, builds visibility and support for the organization’s critical initiatives, and works across departments to implement highly innovative operational and programmatic solutions.
