I have a long career in Alaskan public policy and focus my work at the intersection of equity, inclusion, rights and resilience. As an attorney, I have represented people seeking safety after fleeing persecution and violence. As an advocate, I have worked with Indigenous tribes on ensuring self-governance and food security. As a professor, I have taught courses in rights and justice. I am an active board member of statewide, regional, and national non-profit organizations whose missions are to create inclusion and belonging and combat hate and injustice.
