Hello! My name is Mara, and I am a third-year undergraduate student at Brown University pursuing a double concentration in Cognitive and Psychological Sciences (CPSY) and Africana Studies. I am passionate about child and adolescent mental health, with the long-term goal of being a clinical child psychologist. My academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of identity, trauma, and development. As such, I am deeply committed to supporting children from diverse and underserved backgrounds and to advancing mental health equity through culturally responsive care. As I work towards a career in clinical psychology, I aim to combine my work, education, research, and life experience to have a meaningful impact on children\'s mental and emotional well-being.
